The Best Architecture Masters (BAM) has released its second edition of its ranking of the best architecture master programs in the world in the year 2019. BAM Ranking is an independent research platform of postgraduate programs of architecture. BAM has been  collaborating with different experts and universities from the five continents and it developed the very first ranking of postgraduate programs of architecture in the world, which is published annually.

BAM’s methodology derives from the adjustment of different indicators used to compare the world’s leading colleges, architecture schools and master degrees programs. Based on a list of different postgraduate study programs from the best architecture schools selected in the QS Ranking by Subjects – Architecture / Built Environment, BAM’s team of experts have developed a list of 11 educational-performance indicators focused on quality and internationality of faculty, alumni and postgraduate program. 

Each indicator has a related evaluation-point, and the sum of all the indicators provide the final score of the program in a 1-100 (%) scale. 

This poses an international comparative study, that reflects the best plans from different parts of the world. The BAM has selected the top 30 programs which were compared and evaluated through its BAM Methodology. 

In the top 5, the Harvard GSD, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Universidad Politécnica de Madrid + ETH Zurich, Delft University of Technology, University College London - Bartlett School of Architecture are taking place in the list.
