WA Awards 31st Cycle Shortlist Announced And Ready For Your Rates & Votes

World Architecture Community has announced the strong shortlist for the World Architecture Community Awards 31st Cycle, including a wide range of innovative projects submitted from 39 different countries across the world. About three times a year, World Architecture Community organises the WA Awards 10+5+X to recognise and highlight some of the great projects of our fellow community members.

Sanjay Puri Architects competing with 2 projects, Reiulf Ramstad Architects, Yazgan Design & Architecture competing with 2 projects, MAU Architecture, Jun Gong competing with 3 projects, Gianni Ranaulo Design and Van Aelst I Nguyen & Partners, Yaniv Pardo Architects and more are just a few among the shortlist.

Shintaro Fujiwara's House In Toyonoka in Japan, competing to be a winner of WA Awards 31st Cycle, has been named among the shortlist in the Realized category.

In this Cycle, WAC received projects from as many as 39 countries, more specifically from China, Turkey, Spain, Albania, France, Canada, India, Congo, Mexico, Ukraine, Vietnam, Saudi Arabia, Iceland, Cyprus, South Korea, UAE, Kuwait, Malawi, Taiwan, USA, Iran, Rwanda, Norway, Bangladesh, Japan, Romania, Portugal, Pakistan, Israel, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Jordan, Australia, UK, Austria, Kenya, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Philippines. A fantastic mix and a broad global coverage, to say the least!

Xuzhuang Fan's Kaihua County 1101 Project And Urban Archives in China, competing to be a winner of WA Awards 31st Cycle, has been named among the shortlist in the Realized category.

Projects are in 3 specific categories: Realised, Designed and Student. As usual, the shortlisted projects will be evaluated by our jury, composed of some of our Honorary Members and previous cycles Winners for the first 10 and by our entire community members for the other 5 through their rates.

Yaniv Pardo Architects' Sacker Park in Israel, competing to be a winner of WA Awards 31st Cycle, has been named among the shortlist in the Realized category.

Honorary Members and Winners of Previous Cycles will notice a VOTE button where they can click to select their preferred projects. They may chose as many projects as they wish, only the total of the votes will determine the selected projects.

The Architectural Design and Research Institute of Zhejiang University (UAD)'s Yiwu Cultural Square in China, competing to be a winner of WA Awards 31st Cycle, has been named among the shortlist in the Realized category.

All other Members (Associate, Professional or Academic) of World Architecture Community will see a rating drop-box, where they can decide how they want to rate as many of the shortlisted projects as they wish (1 through 10, 10 being the highest rate). The 5 projects with the highest rates and from at least 15 members will form the +5 of the WA Awards 10+5+X.

Nuru Karim's Straw Bale School in Malawi, East Africa, competing to be a winner of WA Awards 31st Cycle, has been named among the shortlist in the Designed category.

World Architecture Community plans to announce winners latest mid-July. You are the community, so make your vote/rate count and your voice be heard.
