Architects worldwide can now identify themselves on the Web thanks to an extension specially intended for them and which characterizes their profession: .archi.

Thanks to .archi, the mutation in internet sites as well as in the email addresses connected with them, allow architects to develop in a virtual global community, dedicated to their profession, to its unique features, to its vitality and to its mobility.

In order that the extension .archi remain accessible only to architects and to their organisations, the International Union of Architects (UIA) has joined forces with the initiative conducted by the company, Starting Dot. Through .archi, the UIA seeks to uphold its commitment to protect architects, to defend their interests and their independence and to promote their profession.
