Michael Wilford presents the design interests and strategies initially developed in partnership with James Stirling that have been expanded in his practice since Stirling’s death in 1992. He presents drawings and photographs of a variety of architectural designs prepared over the last two decades to show how these aspects have fundamentally influenced the organisation, forms and tectonics of the buildings concerned. The James Stirling/Michael Wilford Archive at the CCA consists of materials from Stirling’s early partnership with James Gowan and Michael Wilford, through to the firm’s continuation under Michael Wilford.

The series They want to speak with you invites design and architecture professionals to discuss their most recent projects.
