Nominations for Saint-Gobain & The Economic Times Smart Green Awards 2018 are open till 20th March 2018. These awards are aimed at to recognize and reward the game changers of Indian Architecture and Design Landscape. The Smart Green Awards 2018 is among the highest accolades one can receive, as the elections are voiced by Asia’s Design fraternity for the Asia Design fraternity.
Nominations are open to design and development firms who are contributing to all sizes and types of projects – ranging from Ultra Luxury to Affordable, from Public Spaces to Commercial properties, and from Educational Institutions to Heritage & Conservation.
The Smart Green Summit & Awards, a reflection of Saint-Gobain’s philosophy of creating well-being in Living Places, is a day-long conference presented in partnership with The Economic Times. This legacy summit will bring under one roof – over 500 top notch developers, architects, designers, government officials, sustainable experts, and other architecture and design related executives who work towards creating sustainable living places. The summit will be held in New Delhi on 27th April, 2018
The focus of the 3rd edition of this summit is on futuristic sustainable building designs, smart technology, new building materials and policies that will redefine our built environment. The summit will include interesting conferencing activities such as Panel Discussions, Keynote Presentations, Unique Networking Activities, Round Table discussions and Think Tanks.

Start-Up Of The Year Award
An architectural or a design firm that has been established and registered in or after December, 2012 is eligible to participate.
The start-up needs to showcase the smart and green work that they have done since their inception.
Built and Un-built projects can be showcased
A portfolio needs to be submitted with a maximum of 5 A3 sheets in a pdf/ppt format.
The portfolio needs to contain at least 1 completed project with photographs.
Technology & Innovation
Any technology that has impacted or will impact the world of design and architecture is welcome.
The technology should have been innovated in or after December, 2012.
The technology can be of any nature – material, construction techniques, site related, software related etc.
Apart from the nomination form, the submission should include any drawings, 3D models, and/or photographs of the mentioned technological innovation. A maximum of 3 A3 sheets or 5 A4 sheets in pdf/ppt format needs to be submitted.
All-Asia Category
This category encourages entries from across the continent.
The entries may fall under any of the above mentioned categories (except the special categories)
The project should have been completed in or after December, 2012.
