British magazine- The Architectural Review (AR) is inviting you to fill in this year’s Women in Architecture survey and help them track the evolving status of women in the global profession. The AR has launched a special campaign and Awards program in 2000 to promote the position of women in architecture and any field as related to architecture. Women in Architecture (WIA) is now in its fifth year and in association with the Architectural Review, seeking to change the profession for the better.

Women in Architecture is a new global remit - WIA is a campaign, an annual programme and an awards event which celebrates the best design by women architects from around the world and promotes role models for young women in practice. Alongside The AR's growing number of partners - who are making a public commitment to equality and who feature on the following pages - the magazine will work to raise the profile of women in architecture worldwide, inspiring change as the united voice of this global call for respect, diversity and equality.

WIA's previous winners, including Zaha Hadid and Eva Jiricná, and the jury includes Norman Foster and Patty Hopkins and WIA's luncheon guests, who find the celebration a very special occasion - quite different from traditional awards events. Women in Architecture awards shortlist will be announced soon for 2016 in the AR's website.
