"Casablanca Bombing Rooms" architecture competition launched!

HMMD latest architecture competition is set to the beautiful backdrop of the Moroccan city of Casablanca; a city that has seen its fair share of strife and conflict throughout the years. As such this competition is focused on preventing more with a visions to transform the site of a previous act of violence into one that educates and works to eliminate the ignorance that causes such extremist acts.
HMMD are tasking participants with creating ideas for the “Casablanca Bombing Rooms” whose main function will be as a public library on the site of the 2003 Casablanca bombings.
A total of $10,000 in prize money will be awarded to our three winners when they are announced on 15th of October, with 1st place taking home $6,000; second place taking $3,000 and 3rd place taking $1,000. In addition to this, all our winners and honourable mentions will be included in future press releases and featured on the HMMD website and other media publications.

Prizes:
3 winning proposals and 6 honourable mentions will be selected.
HMMD will award a total of US $10,000 in prize money to competition winners as follows:
1st prize winner - US$ 6,000
2nd prize winner - US$ 3,000
3rd prize winner - US$ 1,000
