Antigoni Mantsiou
Antigoni is an architect and co‑founder of Opsis Architects in Thessaloniki. She studied at the School of Architecture of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, graduating with honors, and later completed a Master of Landscape Architecture with distinction. Her academic path includes recognition from the Technical Chamber of Greece as the top graduate of the Faculty of Engineering, as well as participation in the EU Leonardo da Vinci Landscape Architecture program in Barcelona.
Before establishing Opsis Architects in 2005 with Panayiota Chaliazi, she collaborated on major public and private projects, gaining experience across administrative, cultural, educational, healthcare, commercial, recreational, and residential design. She is a chartered architect registered with the Hellenic Ministry for the Environment in Architectural Design and Specialised Architectural Design.
Her work at Opsis Architects reflects a commitment to clarity, contextual sensitivity, and the creation of spaces shaped by material precision and human experience. She is an active member of the Technical Chamber of Greece and the Association of Architects of Thessaloniki, with past service on the Board of the Panhellenic Association of Architects. She also holds diplomas in English, German, and dance education.
