Javier Sánchez is an international renowned architect based in Mexico City. He is the founding partner, lead designer and director of the architectural workshop of JSª designdevelopment, formerly known as Higuera + Sanchez between 1996 and 2007. Javier Sánchez graduated as an architect with honors from the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de México (UNAM), Mexico and received his master degree in Sciences and Development of Real Estate Projects from Columbia University in New York, USA. He was recently selected Honorary Fellow for the American Institute of Architects and the curator of the Mexican Pavilion at the Biennial of Architecture in Venezia.
With more than 13 years of experience and up to 40 national and international awards, he has been leading projects of urbanism, resort, housing, mall, office building, museum, cultural center, university, house, social housing, shop, restaurant, hotel, etc. located in Mexico and abroad (Costa Rica, Panama, Peru, China).
