Vikas Sabharwal, the Director & Principal Partner of ivpartners, is leading with the momentum the practice in creating solutions for global design. An alumnus of the prestigious Sushant School of Art Architecture, he graduated school in 1997 heading out to learn amidst diverse experiences within the industry. Joining the practice with his partner and wife, he came rich with experience in design understanding, innovation, and evolution complete with mastering the process delivery of sizeable complex projects. His knowledge from working across with country on projects with international architects consultants furthered his education beyond the academia. Working with multiple renowned design firms including J+W London & PIA Thailand to name a few became a milestone in his learning of both design innovation & translating of client brief into design direction. With an industry experience of more than twenty years in building ideas, taking up challenges & steering direction through the course, he has led the practice to deliver recognized projects across the country. He leads with a vision to deliver high standards of professional practice & team work on every aspect of working with clients, consultants & experts from across the world.
His understanding of the practice was always to create a knowledge & network ecosystem that would become the natural harbinger of design work that works for the client & can truly be translated from design board to reality. He continues to travel extensively across the globe network to evaluate the changing face of design technology bringing to the table innovation and global forecasts.
AD recently published an ivpartners project in discussion with him on the creative approach to the complex heritage site for a restaurant. Building it all ground up he is leading the firm into a recognizable & meritorious design practice of the country.
