ESCUELA DE ARQUITECTURA UNIVERSIDAD DE TALCA, CHILE Profile Page

The school of Architecture at Unversidad de Talca, Chile, started on march, 1999, with the aim of contribute to shape the new spatial production required by a region and a country that both drag the impact of a modernity that didn´t come to a result.
The profile of the architect graduated in the school, is formed by three domains:
The first one, Crafting, refers to skills related to what traditonally and architect should know, what regulations require and what society expects from an architect. The second domain, Operating, includes the necessary skills for a graduated architect to perform succesfully in a highly compettitive and complex environment.
And the third domain, Innovating, includes training in skills which allows a graduated to perform in a world caracterized by instability and change.
Those three domains should converge and crystallize on the graduation work, which involves design, management and building of a work of architecture that contributes to the public in the territory of the Central Valley in Chile, where the school is located.
