The site is located in the Panamerican Highway South, between kilometer 245 and the railway line.

Corresponds to an area that housed a roadblock in a rural school and carabineros. Today is left are ruins of buildings.

The nearest town is Panguilemo which is a mile further north on the other side of the road and recognizes it as the exit to the village called Pelarco

The proposal was simple: Set a place for the purpose of providing shade for the residents of the area while waiting for public transportation.

Cane is working as a structural element of the work, which was extracted from a river nearby.

The execution of the work was carried out in three stages feel a prefabrication of the second pillar of the land and clearing the final assembly of the cover.

The team collected approximately 3,000 rods, were cleared of foliage and ordered according to their thickness for different purposes, the structure and cover.

Currently the work is used for various community celebrations Panguilemo, truckers use it to rest in the shade and children play soccer, among other acitidades.
