Recovery and Improvement of Old Train Station of Paradela

The building of the Old Train Station Paradela located on the south bank of Vouga River, a narrow strip of land bordered by a retaining wall of road linking the highway A25 to Pessegueiro do Vouga. The building is inserted in the Special Protection Area - Vouga River Site.
The project is intended to Recovery and Improvement of Old Train Station, with the intention that they be installed Eco-trail Support Centre and a Centre for Environmental Interpretation.
The strategy of the project aims, firstly, their integration in Coast Polis Ria de Aveiro, particularly its educational components of eco-tourism and leisure tourism (since it finds its application in Rede Natura 2000 - Vouga River Site), on the other hand, it is evident appreciation of the specificity of the existing building taking into account its symbolic and iconic character associated with memories of the old railway, Aveiro/Viseu, however disabled.
