Rama Hospital at Sector 61, Noida is one of the four healthcare projects for Rama hospitals. This was one of the latest to be conceptualized and one of the fastest to become missioned owing to its existing structure being utilized, significantly cutting on the timelines(which is one of the prime advantages of adaptive-reuse project from a monetary standpoint). Further, this project in particular was levied with the weight of instituting a robust presence forthe group in the NCR's Heathcare space. Consequently, the exterior design yearns for iconicity amidst the densely populated residential hub as a high-rise beacon with patient centric design conducive to foster healing whilst allowing picturesque views to the city from all patient room.
Adaptive Reuse: Instead of building from scratch, they saved time, money, and energy by building on top of an abandoned, existing concrete structure.
Vertical Efficiency: To save space, it is a "stacked ecosystem." Busy areas (Emergency, OPD) are at the bottom, surgeries are in the middle, and quiet patient rooms are at the top.
Climate-Smart Facade: Angled windows and fins block harsh sunlight and heat on the South/West sides, while letting in natural light on the North/East.
Healing Spaces: The interiors avoid a sterile, "hospital" look by using warm colors, natural light, and terrace gardens to reduce patient anxiety.
Urban Landmark: The bold, contemporary exterior is designed to stand out as a recognizable beacon in the Noida skyline.
