Breathe In Beauty: Pilates Studio Where We Can Find Peace
BON STUDIO is the latest of approximately 30 yoga and Pilates studios designed by interior designer Oshri Gonen since the outbreak of the war. According to Gonen:
“It seems we Israelis are craving freedom for both body and soul. Yoga and Pilates studios provide essential tools for coping with stress, anxiety, and uncertainty. It’s no coincidence that both small and large entrepreneurs are recognizing the potential of these spaces that offer relief, release, and a powerful yet serene place to gather. And the public is responding.”
Like every project, Gonen begins with a unique, tailor-made concept. BON STUDIO was inspired by the philosophy of yin and yang, rooted in a deep connection to the human spirit, mind, and body. The space blends natural materials—stone, earth, wood, iron, and concrete—carefully chosen to create a harmonious balance between nature and aesthetics. Every detail was intentionally designed—except for the exposed concrete ceiling, left in its raw form to ground the space and serve as a reminder that true beauty lies in imperfection. “That’s where the magic is,” Gonen says.
The selected palette, centered around a soft peach-pink hue, enhances the feminine and enveloping feel of the space—fitting for a studio designed exclusively for women.
“Pink in its natural tones is not just a color; it’s an energy,” Gonen explains. “It creates a calming, warm, and harmonious atmosphere that allows women to feel safe and relaxed.”

The design combines natural materials and soft lines, with hand-crafted limestone-style wall cladding, bleached oak parquet flooring, and custom-made furniture. Every detail—from the flooring to the light fixtures—was designed to evoke a sense of harmony and completion. Meanwhile, the concrete ceiling, with its exposed industrial-style HVAC ducts, adds a touch of raw contrast and strength to the soft, elegant space.
The studio balances elegance and power, featuring a statement wall clad in hand-crafted limestone-style panels, round mirrors with concealed lighting, and natural greenery. Even the custom-designed Pilates equipment was carefully planned to provide a feminine, calm, and professional workout experience—blending softness with strength in every detail.

The project—a women-only studio spanning 250 sq m (2,691 sq ft)—is located in the Hashrashat Yeshuv Tower in Bnei Brak, overlooking the sea. The studio includes a reception area, changing rooms, fitting cubicles, and two training halls: one for equipment-based Pilates and another for yoga/barre, all designed with serenity, nature, and femininity in mind.
