Nestled on the outskirts of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Cliff - All Day Dining and Bar—designed by Nimish Sonavane of Modern Mistry—redefines architecture and dining by placing people at its core. More than just a restaurant with panoramic views, Cliff is a sanctuary for the city’s spirited youth, offering a space to sip, celebrate, and connect. Whether it’s a chilled bucket of beer or a glass of wine raised in toast, Cliff speaks directly to a generation in search of a place to call their own.

The concept for Cliff arose from a keen understanding of Aurangabad’s evolving lifestyle needs. The client envisioned a destination that would not only cater to the city’s youth but also elevate the standards of socializing and dining. What emerged was a sophisticated yet inviting venue designed to balance elegance with comfort, seamlessly blending natural surroundings with thoughtful design.

Situated just 20 minutes from the city center, the sprawling 10,000 sq. ft. property harmonizes effortlessly with its environment. A breezy outdoor deck sets the stage, lined with natural stone flooring, cane and rattan seating, and lush greenery. Overhead on the live kitchen is a thatched roof that enhances the earthy aesthetic, while three sides open up to breathtaking views of the hills and skyline. At the heart of this space is a live kitchen, cleverly crafted to resemble a stone cave. Its windows tease patrons with glimpses of culinary theatrics, releasing tantalizing aromas into the open air.

The outdoor area transitions seamlessly into an indoor lounge through a floor-to-ceiling glass facade, merging the two spaces in a continuous visual loop. Inside, the ambiance shifts to plush sophistication. A captivating ceiling installation of wooden boxes and fabric panels takes center stage, casting a warm glow after dusk. This interplay of light and reflection creates a mesmerizing effect, amplified by the dark night sky visible through the glass panes. Beyond the lounge lies an expansive lawn, perfect for open-air celebrations and large gatherings. The 2,000 sq. ft. indoor space balances vibrant energy with a cozy warmth, making it equally suited for intimate family dinners and spirited evenings with friends. Together, the zones create a dynamic yet cohesive experience that caters to a wide spectrum of patrons.

Cushioned, modern furniture offers both physical and emotional comfort, while tables with polished granite tops and wooden frames exude understated elegance. Cliff has a variety of cuisines, whipped up with nuance—mainly North Indian, Continental, Asian—call for the chef’s specials and you will get to taste amazing woodfired pizzas, a buffet of tikkas, house special fries and Okra fries.
