Nestled in the hills of Costa Blanca, CM House stands as a refined expression of modern architecture that engages in dialogue with its rugged natural surroundings. Designed by Anvana Architects, the home unfolds across a sloped terrain, using bold geometric lines and local materials to create a powerful architectural presence rooted in simplicity and clarity.
From the street level, the residence impresses with its dynamic volumes and clean white façades, contrasted by warm stone pillars that ground the structure in the Mediterranean landscape. A carefully crafted stairway ascends along the side, guiding visitors toward the entrance – a tall, elegant door framed in natural wood and glass, reflecting the outdoor garden and distant mountains.
The layout is organized in an L-shaped plan that divides the home into two main zones: a social wing and a private one. This allows the interior to remain bright and open, while offering privacy and protection from the sun. Full-height glazing in the living areas erases the boundary between inside and outside, inviting in natural light and expansive views of the golf course and mountainous terrain.
Inside, the material palette is warm and minimal: oak finishes, soft-toned porcelain floors, and natural textures create a serene atmosphere. The kitchen is sleek and fully integrated, and the living room flows seamlessly onto the outdoor terrace. This generous covered terrace becomes an extension of the interior, shaded by deep overhangs and defined by skylights and stone columns.
At the heart of the exterior lies a sculptural pool, positioned to reflect the surrounding landscape and architecture. The terrace becomes a space for socializing, contemplation, and connection with nature. CM House is not only a contemporary residence but also a thoughtful architectural gesture — calm, precise, and deeply connected to its place.
