Sea Wave House is an architectural ode to fluidity, light, and organic form. Located on Spain’s Mediterranean coast, this residential project redefines contemporary living by merging sculptural geometry with natural elements. The most distinctive feature of the house is its undulating white concrete roofline, inspired by the movement of ocean waves. This sweeping, curvilinear canopy not only defines the visual identity of the home but also frames views of the sky and sea with cinematic precision.
At night, the structure takes on a dreamlike quality as integrated LED lighting illuminates the canopy and landscape, creating a celestial ambiance under the stars. Daylight, on the other hand, casts dynamic shadows through the cutouts in the roof, animating the architecture as the sun moves.
The open-air living area beneath the canopy serves as an outdoor lounge, complete with a sunken seating arrangement, sculptural planters, and a minimalist fireplace. The interior and exterior zones flow seamlessly thanks to sliding glass partitions, blurred thresholds, and a consistent materials palette.
Inside, the design embraces a calm, refined minimalism. The bathroom showcases a custom-made floating vanity with carved sinks and matte black fixtures, placed in front of a large window that visually connects the space to the garden beyond. Natural stone, textured tiles, and clean-lined furniture all contribute to a sense of tranquility and spatial purity.
The landscape is meticulously curated with soft Mediterranean vegetation, natural stone walkways, and palm-lined views that guide the eye toward the distant sea. The garden is both structured and relaxed, complementing the home’s geometry without competing for attention.
Sea Wave House is a masterclass in balancing form and function, sculptural presence and serene living. It stands as a testament to architectural craftsmanship that respects its environment while offering a bold, poetic response to coastal modernism.
