The Site is located in the historic town of St. Anns Bay, Jamaica, West Indies. The community is considered to be low income but self sustaining, made up of mainly tradesmen and women. It was the intent to provide a low impact, low cost and sustainable project that persons within the community could afford.

There was the issue of geographical location i.e. the sites location below sea level and proximity to it, this was treated by raising the building on stilt like construction.
