A small cabin-located in the backyard of a house became the office of the owner to work from home without being home. The area where this residence is located is heavily wooded and one of the objectives of the project was to invite nature into the space by taking advantage of the tree that was already incorporated into the original construction.
To Elías Kababie, the objective is always to achieve a perfect synchronization between architecture an interior space to transmit the lifestyle of his clients. He works by the motto: “back to basics” and in this project shows that the spaces created are certainly a creative idea without borders and a unique concept that takes into consideration technology, current trends and the global expression.
Reusing items is one of the characteristics of the projects of Elías and for La Cabaña he reused many of the furniture that was part of the space given them a new personality. Walking through La Cabaña is a journey full of surprises and details in an efficient and flexible space to work. Visitors are surprised to find a home office that is best described as an office in a home.
