THE BUILDING 9N 76E is located at Kochi, Kerala. The top two floors of the structure is occupied by AMICUS and the ground and first floor is to be rented. The structure has been designed keeping in mind the climate and place. In this particular format of construction the labor component is much higher than an average structure. The practice has tried to use materials that are locally available and has been used in a tactile manner. Bare concrete finish and un-plastered concrete surfaces do represent the quality of workmanship and do save substantially on finishing.

As a practice we do try to limit specifying imported products for the exterior. We work with local workers and easily available materials to achieve certain detail. This in turn supports the local industry. The exposed block work also demands a certain quality of workman ship which adds to the over all aesthetics.
