- The Touristic port of African Marble Park on Egypt’s Nile River Coast is a spectacular, state-of-the-art of manufacturing facility with an architectural identity. Designed as a contemporary resurrection of the fabled port of Marble especially the Alabaster Marble at Luxor once venerated throughout the ancient world, the present building was intended to serve as a city’s connection to history and heritage. But its stark modernity and technological innovations make it decidedly more forward-looking than historically referential, a cosmopolitan exploration of form and engineering perhaps longing for a stronger sense of regional belonging.

- My message through African Marble Park with the motto “Connecting Minds, Creating the future” is to motivate the international community and visitors to support Egypt and Nile countries by increasing marble and stones exporting, importing needs, and encouraging tourism for Nile river countries through connecting these countries by redeveloping Nile transportation.

- African Marble Port consists of THREE parts:

1) MARBLE TRAINING Center for MARBLE Sculpture, Marble crafts, and local crafts for Egyptian and African kids, youth, and women. The MARBLE training center will work on creating job opportunities for local people to develop their lifestyle and income that will be managed by Sayed Al-Muta‘ni, the popular craftsman, Also one-day workshops for visitors where they can work on customized souvenirs and other several workshops.

2) Museum of stones where they can watch the history of marble and stones in Africa, especially in Egypt. a place where visitors have an exclusive spatial experience with the civilization walls of the Nile countries.

3) NUBIAN Market and souvenirs shops for marble products and local crafts products to enhance job opportunities for the community by present economic sustainable solutions. In addition to, recreational zone with several specialty restaurants for folkloric and traditional Egyptian food.

From the shoreline, the Civilization Path appears as a disc-shaped in a wedge shape, The civilization path was intended to be in a form of pure geometry of the circular plan to "recall the cyclical nature of knowledge, fluid throughout time" and to reflect the circular loop of civilization as we are being affected by civilization and always affecting civilization. the Touristic Port exerts a commanding, primeval presence over the harbor city.

The difference between the aerial view and the in-vivo experience is essential to the comprehensibility of the Project: what may appear from images and models to be a monolithic, blocky diagram is far from the in-person impression afforded from the ground plane. Complexity is contributed at the human scale through structural and material details, incisions into the circular shape, and an elaborate interior program contoured to the dramatic Opening of the roof. The interplay of multi-directional curves and intersecting planes gives the project an energetic dynamism, particularly from the exterior approach. In an age in which buildings are too often intended to express themselves best through renderings, the African Marble Park project provides Luxor with welcome relief.

The proposals now result in an extremely clear and strong conceptual approach, resulting in a contemporary, playful, exciting, sculptural building; a fractured/broken wall in the landscape that is sensitive to its immediate surroundings and wider setting. It is considered that the proposals respond extremely well to the site contours, solar orientation, and prevailing wind, as well as the wider visual impact considerations. The Panel now considers that the proposals have demonstrated that they result in proposals that do link to and form part of, an integrated landscape and ecological proposal, resulting in an enhancement of the existing situation. The Panel also considers that the proposals result in an enhancement of long-range views of the site.
