From the main ground of ancient history and culture, in tebes, luxor nowadays. Neterteb culture center provides different types of activities that help and engage the importance of hieroglyphics and ancient art by providing many workshops, lecture rooms and fun educational exhibitions for all visitors and students. Interactive exhibitions where visitors can use raw material and hieroglyphics to make an art to be a memorial for them.
Neterteb plans to provide better service and the easiest way of learning in a fun way, a perfect service for all visitors in hopes for raise awareness about our culture and ancient language. The project based on united nations SDGs that can help with providing enough opportunities for youth to be educated, employed and trained well enough. Also, is to protect and safeguard the worlds cultural and natural heritage. The project contains 3 important zones the reception, the dark exhibition and the student cafe.
The concept is light and shadow, the positive and negative we see through space that how light can glorify certain elements while shadow is just an outcome or reflection from light.
The concept is applied through circulation in a story journey, where the journey starts from the beginning with the dark exhibition to the main and interactive exhibitions, the meaning of the darkness to light is where knowledge is the key of strength, power and beauty for every civilization. the way how ancient Egyptians were in darkness before dynasties, before the discovery and development of hieroglyphics. which led them later to one of most advanced civilizations in that time.

The building is based on skeleton structure with flat slabs. most interior treatments is made with local materials that were found in Luxor, some treatments were made by papyrus paper to show how durable and reflective it is and that ancient Egyptians used it for writing their documents. Plans and cross-sections with technical detailing is provided in the project.
