Ham Saye (The Neighbor)

In Iranian Culture the relationship between neighbors is important which is neglected in modern life. According to the vernacular standards for housing, we create common spaces for users to save the neighborhood culture. Also lowering the building cost was the main challenge for us. So we designed simple details and used recycled materials.
The site is in a low income region. We reduced the cost by using lower price details & materials. Design characteristic: -Communication: The interior communal spaces such as a shared library and a playground with a pleasant view.-Diversity: Creating inner order based on diversity as well as harmony. Reducing repetitive elements & using a modular system to design the facade & plans.-Originality: Designing based on function.-A home: Enough amount of daylight & terraces as gardens.
The main challenge was to build an apartment with low budget and on the other hand raise the quality of living space. We tried to bring the architecture into the homes of ones who had forgotten the “Quality” because of its high cost.
