ICONIC FINANCIAL TOWER:-
The Concept:
In addition to the development of Fintech Hub, WB HIDCO has decided to develop an
Iconic Tower Building also to accommodate mainly Commercial and Residential activities on
a 4 acre-plot within the CBD adjoining the Fintech Hub complex. The aim of the project is to
develop the said plot of land with a State-Of-the-Art Iconic Tower, which should include the
following major features:-
• The project shall have an Iconic Tower which would be a land mark building in the
New Town with the vision and development objective of Fintech Hub.
• The Tower should stand above the rest of the adjoining buildings and would have
visibility from a long distance, but should not violate Civil Aviation restrictions.
• The Tower shall be developed as a unique world class facility with futuristic concept
and should capture the aspiration of HIDCO to build an Iconic structure.
• The Iconic Tower should be an Architectural Marvel and should have world class
facilities. The Architectural features and the planning should conform to the Urban
Scape of the area including adjoining land uses, development norms, rules and
regulations applicable for such development in New Town.
• The Tower itself would be like a Fintech City accommodating all the related facilities.
At least 25% of the Commercial Space within the Tower is to be reserved for Fintech
purposes.
• The Concept of Green Building may be integrated with the development of the Tower
with emphasis on preservation and enhancement of the environment. Minimum Gold
Rating Status of the Building is to be achieved.
As per a Pre-feasibility Report carried out by WBHIDCO, while conceiving the project,
the following project configurations were derived at a conceptual level.
Land Area available for the project: 4 Acres (174,240 Sq. ft)
Permissible FAR on Site: 6.0
Saleable Built-up Area: 1,045,440 Sq. ft
Ground Coverage @ 40%: 69,696 Sq. ft
Built-up Area for Office Space @ 32%: 333,174 Sq. ft
Built-up Area for Retail Space @19%: 200,000 Sq. ft
Built-up Space for Residential @ 49%: 512,266 Sq. ft
Approx. No. of Residential Units: 300 Nos.

Business District. An Eco-tourism project covering 480 acres (more or less) of land, Biswa
Bangla Convention Centre, TCS & SBI Management Institute and a 5-Star Hotel are located
in close proximity of the Fintech Hub area
