This is a design of a library in Yazd (a city Situated in very center of Iran). Known for the
Its fame in clay & earthen architecture .this is the final design project for B.A in Yazd University. There are some significant concepts such as Iranian architecture identity, climate and green architecture. For Iranian architecture figures: using of Iranian architecture materials like axis, access hierarchy and applying Iranian's methods for designing modern and innovative landscape design. On the bases of the climate, use of porches, orientation and attached materials like shading and retractable roofs are the keys. At the most, in connection with green architecture applying Sirwall system, (rammed earth) of local soil and use of photovoltaic duo to the sunny weather of Yazd are the needs.

Talking about manufacturing technique, because of considerable amount of loads, main structures a steel structure and the roofs are concrete slabs or space frame system. The structure system is expose in order to show honesty of my design, but in every place that walls are only fillers and non-structural I used sirewall system. Retractable roofs are oriented in direction which with a little rotating will apply the lobby and reading lobbies with defuse lighting. for other innovative techniques an innovative elevator which doesn’t require any thing on top or under it and uses a simple cable and reel system and take the user through a glass pool of water to the hearth of library , the repository.
