Ninghai Tourism Distribution Center

Located in the southeast of Zhejiang Ninghai Expressway Toll Station, Ninghai Tourism Distribution Center is regarded as a building complex containing functions of information, tourism trade promotion, tourism goods, entertainment, hotel, and etc. Our concept is to create "The Hidden Mountain". Like a grand mountain, the main building is hidden by an enormous floating canopy, which appearance has displayed the unique characteristics of main scenic spots in Ninghai. The expression of "Pedestal, Hall, Roof” of the façade has also made the building become the landmark of the city. What`s more, local materials have been applied on the “Pedestal”, such as the bronze-colored "Copper Plate Stone" from nearby rural areas. Also, the hall is enveloped by glass and timber, showing the openness of the space and creating a bright indoor space to promote the local tourism. When people wander through the three-dimensional landscape of the “Mountain”, they would experience different sceneries together with the display of local tourism, echoing the concept of " Hidden Mountain " before tourists starting their first trip in Ninghai.
