For four generations, C&C Milano has produced high quality fabrics and linen products for the home. In 2005, the company moved its flagship store to a historical building in Milan’s city center, just a few steps away from Da Vinci’s “Last Supper”. The store occupies the ground floor of a building in Via Zenale. The street facing façade was rendered through the creation of two new glass windows, framed by the facades existing early 20th century decoration. Inside the show room, the original arches and high ceiling, characteristic of the time period, are painted white and accentuated by a modern lighting system. The ochre colored cement flooring provides the back drop for the perimeter wall’s polychromatic vertical display stands. The workspace furnishings, rendered in steel and wood, are covered with fabric, camouflaging themselves with the products on sale and creating a unique environment , noted by a cozy and domestic ambience.
