Located above the Kailash Temple of the Ellora Caves, the Ellora Sculpture Park is a non-commercial organization, devoted to talented artists from all over the world. The brainchild of Ghanshyam Gupta, one of Indias leading young artists, the Park plans to have an international collection of large sculptures, for sale as well as for its permanent exhibition.
Annual sculpture camps and workshops with artists are some of the Parks proposed activities. Facilities will include an art gallery, common studios for printmaking, sculpture, painting, fiberglass work and ceramics, a library, restaurant and studio apartments for visiting artists.
