Since 1945, the Institute of Architects of Brazil has organised its architect’s congress, the most important architectural event in the country. This year marks the 20th edition of the congress, which will take place in Fortaleza on 22 - 25 April 2014, on the theme of professional identity and diversity. The programme will address: the challenges of the modern city; diversity of performance; public space and mobility; ethics and teaching collective responsibility; habitat; architectural sites and projects; natural and built heritage.Marcos Acayaba will lead the main conference.
