WHY NOT? /and/ WHY?

I like the casually distributed effect of the irregular shaped skylights. Completely against the conventional dogmas of architecture: but this reminds me of Bruno Zevi and the "modern language" he tried to advocate. Your articulation of space here, where light is in the forefront as an artistic medium, is an "other" role for the architect: that of a sculptor. Could architecture be conceived and designed as subjectively and artistically as sculpture is?
