Abstract
Terminology for urban morphology includes “settlement patterns”, defined as the way in which man disposes himself on the territory in which he lives. Our goal is to prove that the analysis through mathematical models, of the hierarchical link, from region to objects, helps us to find the clues and, in consequence, to design under the essence of the atmosphere perceived and needed by a cultural group.
