JEMS Architekci unveils plans for triangle-pillared office buildings and hotel in Warsaw

Warsaw-based architecture firm JEMS Architekci has unveiled plans for three modern office buildings and a four-star hotel in Warsaw’s Służewiec Przemysłowy area - the project is currently under construction on site.
Named P4, the new development is located at ul. Postępu 4 in Warsaw. The project is being developed by Garvest Real Estate, who already have a number of highly esteemed developments to their credit, including the Pixel complex in Poznań, which was also designed by JEMS Architekci.
Proposing a bold geometry with its triangular pillars and diagonally-designed facade configuration, P4, with the geometry of the pillars, beams and discs, takes cues from the industrial architecture of this area of Warsaw. The project pays homage to that historical modernist style of industrial Służewiec.
The new complex will comprise four buildings, with two seven-storey cuboids forming a street front, and another two four-storeys with cascading slips creating wide terraces. The structures are made of ferroconcrete to be simple, but distinctive and spatially present.
The first two buildings are presently under construction, with one of the seven-storeys designed to house the superior-standard four-star business hotel – Vienna House Mokotów – with 164 rooms, spacious conference halls and a recreational section. P4 is located near Warsaw’s southern bypass road, in the vicinity of the Chopin Airport. The premises will include over 600 parking spaces for cars and bicycles.
P4 is the second project of JEMS Architekci in this area of Warsaw, one of the notable precedents being Platinum Business Park at ul. Domaniewska.
