Manifesta 13 Marseille announces its first events for opening program

Manifesta 13 Marseille, the European Nomadic Biennial, has kicked off its first events for the opening program which will be held from 28 to 30 August, 2020.
Throughout the weekend of the 28th until the 30th of August Manifesta 13 Marseille invites you to discover the first events of our 3 programmes: the first plot The Home of the central programme Traits d’union.s at Musée Grobet-Labadié, the new exhibition of Invisible Archive #6 at Tiers QG, screenings on the rooftop of Coco Velten and Friche la Belle de Mai, the film programme at Videodrome 2, the sound programme in collaboration with Radio Grenouille at Park Longchamp, as well as 25 fantastic projects brought to you by some Marseille’s most exciting cultural producers within the programme Les Parallèles du Sud.

On Saturday the 29th of August (11.30-12.30), Manifesta 13 Marseille invites you to a special online panel discussion with Marseille’s new Mayor Michèle Rubirola, Manifesta 13’s director Hedwig Fijen, leading architect Winy Maas from MVRDV and other local experts who will discuss the new urban strategy for Marseille and the ideas and scenarios researched in Manifesta 13’s new publication Le Grand Puzzle.
