Istanbul-based architecture practice Hayri Atak Architectural Design Studio has designed a boutique hotel that is suspended from Norway's Preikestolen cliff. Called Cliff Concept Boutique Hotel, the studio wanted to create a small hotel as if it is the natural part of the rock that creates the hotel itself. 

Proposing a luxury and unique experience to its visitors, the hotel is characterized with undulating balconies that are shaped according to the form of the rock. Visitors will be able to have a mesmerizing views towards the beautiful landscape of Norway. 

The four-story hotel can only be perceived through its balconies and a floating deck - which includes a glass-boxed swimming pool to create the feeling of flying in the air while swimming. 

The other stories of the hotel consist of rooms which are embedded into the rock. There is no information about the length of the pool cantilevering from the rock, but it seems the boutique hotel will offer a thrilling experience over the Norwegian mountains if built.

Hayri Atak, an interior architect, was born in Eskişehir. Atak established his firm Hayri Atak Architectural Design Studio in 2017 in Istanbul. Hayri Atak has received awards from many design competitions during his academic and professional life, both as an individual and a group. 

Atak has experience in a wide scope of interior and architectural projects including: hotel design, cafe/restaurant design, store concept design, villa design, clinical design, housing design, and facade design. 

In addition to his interest in product design and furniture design, he has recently been working on parametric designs, prototype techniques, molding &  serial manufacture techniques of products and facades, and robotic architecture.
