London mayor Sadiq Khan will embrace new type of housings responding London housing cirisis very soon, which will be tested in 22 apartments on three sites of London. The houses will be designed as 'naked-homes', without partition walls, flooring and wall finishes, only including a very much-needed part of the kitchen and bathroom -sink, basic plumbing etc..The purpose of this scheme is to reduce the cost of housing from £580,000 to £150,000 or max. £340,000.
Sadiq Khan adds weight to scheme to construct spartan apartments that will sell for up to 40% less than usual new-builds.
