In May Henning Larsen Architects will be hosting a symposium on tall buildings in Scandinavia initiated by the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat, CTBUH.

How should we approach tall buildings in Scandinavia? What are the challenges? Though the debate on building tall continues, Copenhagen and a number of Nordic cities either have already built high-rises or are planning to do so in the near future.

With this symposium the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) addresses how tall buildings are beginning to be seen as a viable typology that could be accommodated in the Scandinavian urban fabric.

The symposium is held on May 28, 2015 at Henning Larsen Architects, Vesterbrogade 76, 5th Floor.

Speakers at the event counts Julian Chen, Architect and CTBUH Denmark Representative, Halldor Ragnarsson, Vice President and Director of High Rise Division at MT Højgaard, and Greg Dunn, Partner at Adamson Associates.
