Bahcesehir University Faculty of Architecture and Design hosting;

3rd International Conference of International Association of Silkroad Universities (iaSU) "Archi-Cultural Interactions through the Silkroad" will be held between the dates of March 25-27, 2015 at Bahcesehir University in Istanbul,Turkey

''The 3rd International Conference "Archi-Cultural Interactions Through the Silkroad" of iaSU (International Association of Silkroad Universities - iaSU) which was established in 2010 by the collaboration of Bahçeşehir University (Turkey) and Mukogawa University(Japan) is going to be held in Bahçeşehir University Beşiktaş Campus in B-Conference Hall on March 25-27 2015. The conference will commence with the Thematic Opening Speech by Prof. Dr. Suha Ozkan, architect, architectural critic and lecturer on March 25, 2015 at 18.00 at B Conference Hall in Besiktas Campus of Bahcesehir University. The conference will proceed with the presentations of participants on March 26-27, 2015. Thematic Opening Speech and the opening ceremony will be open to all attendees interested in the field of design, architecture, and culture.

iaSU was established targeting the development of scientific and cultural exchange between the universities of Asia and to revitalize Silkroad as "Science Road" which once was the most significant route of socio-economical and cultural interaction and communion as a trade route.

The first event of iaSU was organized by Bahçeşehir University in Istanbul, Turkey in March 2011 and the second by Mukogawa University in Nishinomiya, Japan in July 2012. Now, the third event once more will be hosted by Bahçeşehir University in Istanbul, in March 2015. All presented studies are being published subsequent to the conferences by the hosting universities' publishing houses in order to share the material further.
