Ken Schluchtmann has completed his latest independent editorial project: “Architecture and Landscape in Norway”, edited by Hatje Cantz. The photographies in this book are the result of over 20,000 kilometres traveled in five years through the breathtaking landscapes of Norway, capturing innovative architecture along the Norwegian National Tourist Routes.
The hardcover book contains 160 pages with 106 illustrations and detailed maps to localize exactly the position of the spots he visited and photographed. Clear images which transmit all the power of the unique nature, a kind of travel diary, showing Schluchtmann's personal take on nature in dialogue with contemporary architecture.
-Dramatic architecture set before the stunning backdrop of the Norwegian mountains
-Spectacular images captured by one of the world’s best architectural photographers
The Berlin photographer Ken Schluchtmann (* 1970) is known for his signature style. Clear and cool, his images are taken without the use of artificial lighting— at dusk or beneath a cloudy sky—lending his subject matter a sensual quality. The World Architecture Festival in Singapore recognized his outstanding work, naming him the architecture photographer of the year in 2012 and 2013.The Berlin photographer Ken Schluchtmann (* 1970) is known for his signature style.
