The deadline is Monday 14 December 2015 and it is free to enter.

The Architectural Review invites all talented women for the WIA Awards. Now ''Women in Architecture'' is in fifth year - and with a new global remit - WIA is a campaign, an annual programme and an awards event which celebrates the best design by women architects from around the world and promotes role models for young women in practice.

Alongside the AR's growing number of partners - who are making a public commitment to equality and who feature on the following pages - The Architectural Review will work to raise the profile of women in architecture worldwide, inspiring change as the united voice of this global call for respect, diversity and equality.

AR awards are a crucial touchstone. The AR is now inviting entries for the honours, among them the inaugural Moira Gemmill Prize for Emerging Architecture, which pays tribute to the late director of design at the V&A, recognising excellence in design and thought leadership. The AR's survey, too, will look to offer an important snapshot of the experience of women architects in different territories and more fully understand the pressures they face. You can find further details of this in coming weeks at the dedicated WIA hub on AR's website.

The Women in Architecture Awards inspire change in the architectural profession by celebrating great design by women architects from around the world and promoting role models for young women in practice. They are cherished by WIA winners includes Zaha Hadid and Eva Jiricná, WIA juries include luminaries such as Norman Foster and Patty Hopkins and our luncheon guests, who find the celebration a very special occasion - quite different from traditional awards events.
