Serdar Aydin received his Masters’ degree in Architecture from the University of Liverpool in the UK and a doctorate from Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand in 2018. He was a research and teaching assistant at The Chinese University of Hong Kong between 2015-17. His architectural practice include works at Zaha Hadid Architects in Hong Kong. He is currently an Assistant Professor with Mardin Artuklu University and the Deputy Head for the Department of Architecture. His research interests include parametric and algorithmic design, digital heritage, BIM, VR and AR, smart cities, gamification and design research.
