Yeşim Hatırlı was born in Ankara in 1968. After graduating from the Department of Architecture at Middle East Technical University in 1990, she started her professional life in MNG Targem. Since 1993, she has been working with Nami Hatırlı as cofounder, project designer and project coordinator in Hatırlı Architecture LLC. Since 2003, Hatırlı works as a part-time instructor in 4th year Design Studio at METU Department of Architecture. She is affiliated with the Chamber of Architects Ankara Branch, TSMD (Association of Turkish Independent Architects) and Architects’ Association 1927, METU Alumni Association and METU Faculty of Architecture Alumni Association (OMIM). Yeşim Hatırlı formerly being a member of the TSMD executive board; she now acts as the chairman of the same board. She has leaded the establishment of the TSMD Centre for Architecture in 2012 and has also coordinated European Union project which has the end product of Ankara City Model.
