architetCorona lives and works in Pordenone but he was born in Bolzano. After he had graduated at the Venice University Institute of Architecture with professor Carlo Scarpa, he started travelling all around Europe. This gave him the opportunity to measure up to the international architectural scene and to meet and work with important colleagues as Gian Ugo Polesello, Glauco and Giuliano Gresleri; Josè Oubrerie and Jullian de la Fuente, collaborators of the Parisian Le Corbusier Atelier 35 rue de Sevres.
In 1980 Corona opened his own Architecture and Design Studio and started working on different projects as Pordenone XX September Square but he kept the international look out as one of his priorities.
He was indeed invited to the competition for the creation of a layout for ahousing estate in Vienna with architects G.Gresleri, S.Varnier, G.Garau, F.Ruchat and P.Jung (1984) and he took part in the international contest for the Basilica of Aquileia Square development (2003).
He gave birth to concepts for Heineken, Interbrew, John Martin’s and currently he is planning a new wine shops chain for Maccari and the Thaddeus bars chain in Naples. Corona also collaborates with La Bottega Group developing projects for important companies as Isa Jacuzzi, Albatros, Alf Group, Gruppo Ali, IdeaGroup, Rhoss, Freud, Mastella, Tegolaia Gruppo Ind., Gruppo Mab, Rosa Group, Veneran, La Delizia, Tonon, Pavan, Karton, Savio, Bass, Löwenbrau.
