Born in Beirut – Lebanon,
Omar Harb graduated from the Université Saint-Esprit de Kaslik (USEK) with a Master in Architecture degree in 2005, the same year when he established OHA&A, an expanding architecture and urban design platform practice in Middle East, North & West Africa. In 2006, Harb completed a Fellowship Program in EU – Urbanism at BAUHAUS KOLLEG in Dessau, Germany. From 1999 until 2012, he assisted many international architecture firms, such as Kevin Dash & DW5/Bernard Khoury. The following year, he was assigned as a Pledged Member in the SEED (Social Economic Environmental Design) Network, and in 2016 he became a registered Sustainable Architect from the Green Planet Architects Network. Harb joined LAU as a part-time faculty member teaching “Workshop I”, “Construction Documents”, “DES VII” and “DES X”.
