The Japanese architectural design group ALPHAVILLE was established in 1998 by Kentaro Takeguchi and Asako Yamamoto. The two directors studied architecture at Kyoto University. After graduation, Kentaro Takeguchi studied at AA school in London and Asako Yamamoto studied at Paris-La Villette.
ALPHAVILLE always try to find out the framework of the space required, which is particular and unique to each project but also universal and adaptable to diverse contexts, functions or users. ALPHAVILLE is engaged in architectural projects of any scale both in Japan and abroad.
