Lucio Muniain is a renowned Mexican architect, artist, and musician with a passion for designing inspiring spaces that integrate seamlessly with their surroundings. He studied Architecture and Urbanism at the Universidad Iberoamericana and Parsons School of Design in New York, before earning a Master's Degree in Urban Development from the Universidad Iberoamericana.

Since 1998, Muniain has worked independently at LUCIO MUNIAIN et al., and has completed a wide range of projects across Mexico. His approach to architecture is centered around the belief that buildings should contribute to the social, cultural, and environmental well-being of their communities. He often incorporates elements of traditional Mexican architecture in his designs, while also embracing modern techniques and technologies.

Muniain's notable projects include the Autofin Corporate Building, the Bahía Balandra Project, and the remodeling and expansion of the Guadalajara International Airport. He has also been recognized for his work both nationally and internationally, receiving numerous awards and honors for his innovative designs.

In addition to his work as an architect, Muniain is also an accomplished artist and musician. He has had eight monographic editions of his work as a painter, musician, and architect, and is a painter trained by Loló de la Barra, Robin Bond, Salomón Laiter, and Yvonne Domenge. He was also a double bassist in the band "Another" with Jair Laiter and Manuel Morán, with whom he has recorded three albums to date.

Furthermore, Muniain is a dedicated educator who has taught at various institutions, including the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and the Anahuac University.
