Kshema Rai
Kshema Rai is the founder and principal interior designer of Black Pebble Designs, a boutique interior design studio based in Mangalore (Mangaluru), Karnataka, India. She brings more than 20 years of experience to creating interiors that combine personal expression, thoughtful planning and everyday functionality.
She began her interior design career in Mumbai in 2005 after graduating from LS Raheja School of Architecture. Before moving to Mangalore, she worked with specialist firms in Mumbai, gaining experience across luxury residential, hospitality, commercial and mixed-use interiors. This varied professional background informs her understanding of different spaces, design requirements and client lifestyles.
Kshema founded Black Pebble Designs in 2016. Her design approach brings together bespoke furniture, carefully selected materials and attention to detail to create cohesive, comfortable interiors that reflect the people who use them.
