Hello, I am Nguyen Huy Du, a student at the University of Architecture Ho Chi Minh City (2021–2026), majoring in General Architecture. My education emphasizes practical construction skills, but I am also deeply interested in speculative and non-physical design concepts.
I am particularly drawn to residential and public buildings with high user density (such as schools, hospitals, etc.)—typologies that offer immense diversity and exciting design possibilities, yet also face challenges arising from social contexts and climate change.
My goal is to become an architect who can contribute to Vietnam’s urbanization process in the future. For now, I allow myself to experiment freely with design projects, believing that even the most irrational or seemingly crazy ideas hold potential for research and development.
