tvad architects is an architecture practice based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
A central tenet of the studio’s philosophy is the pursuit of simplicity and unity. Meaningful spaces emerge not only through functional planning, but through the articulation of proportioned geometric voids - spaces that evoke atmosphere and elicit an emotional response.
The practice embraces the notion of silent architecture - an architecture characterized by calmness, presence, and timelessness. Concepts such as structural integrity, permanence, and emotional warmth are prioritized over superficial formal expression. Form and structure, function and appearance, are not considered as separate dualities, but as inherently interconnected and mutually reinforcing.
At its core, tvad architects views architecture as a geometric discipline of thought, with beauty as its guiding principle.
