Bharat Bansal
Mr. Bansal has over 30 years of professional experience – eight years of which have been spent on policy planning and environmental design, eighteen years in urban design/city planning and three years in the design of individual buildings. He has worked in responsible capacities in various governmental and private offices in India and the USA
He has handled a variety of projects ranging from urban structuring / renewal and conservation of urban areas to the development of environmentally sensitive waterfronts & hilly areas ; from the integration of transportation systems with the physical environment of cities (Baltimore ,USA) to advising the government of India on Human Settlement issues (UNCHS/UNHHSF) and carrying out Environmental Impact Assessment studies. He has traveled extensively – in official as well as individual capacity – to a number of countries in Asia, North America ,Latin America, Europe and the USSR. Many of his articles and technical papers have been published in Indian and foreign journals .
